i am looking at a shell with 141xxx miles on it. the interior looks very clean and i am told that all gages and power options(including sunroof)all work...it needs a paint job(but im not worried about how the paint looks)no rust on it...they have and engine with 60xxx-70000 miles on it that they are gonna but in the shell..they are asking 2300..is it worth it...i have 2 days to make the decision to buy or not...i was wondering if anyone had any opinions

 

if it's a TII i'd say definantly go for it, NA is prolly even worth it if theres no rust and everything works and looks nice, if the paint really doesn't matter to you, i'd say its worth it

 

its a NA...dont really want a turbo..not yet anyway..unless the price was about what this one is...

 

Tell them put the engine in and get it running first, if you're willing to pay that kinda money...unless we're talking Canadian $?

The shell isn't worth more than $500, period.

The shell + motor on the side, I wouldn't pay more than $1000 - you're looking at a lot of labor to get the engine installed and running.

$2300 is way too much.
