ACT Street clutch if you have a stock turbo.

Anything more than that i'd reccomend a spec stage 3.

I have had a Centerforce dual friction and its feel was nice and so was the grip but the disc wore out and disintergrated.
Went with racing beat steet strip and now that is slipping.
So for me ACT is next..

I have ACT unsprung on my TII ( feels awesome but can be a bitch if you're caught in stop and go traffic. I do not recommend it for a DD that sees rush hour traffic daily, but it's ok for your weekend cruise car/autocross car). If you have a stock TII then I would not recommend that clutch though. ACT makes some good clutches that will benefit you and your needs.

I knew I was going to be upgrading teh car within a year or so of the clutch install so I went with the harsher clutch and now I don't have to worry about replacing it once my new turbo goes in. You can do the same unless you KNOW you won't be increasing power/torque within the next 3-4 years (depending on the abuse you put your clutch through).

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM EBAY UNLESS IT IS A BRAND NAME (search for recent threads regarding clutches for details)

I just had my clutch replaced (could have been the original as far as I know) w/ some steel backed full disk whose name escapes me. I feels pretty much like stock, but now I can chirp 2nd

I had the RB 4 puck bronze clutch on my other T2 and it wasn't very plesant to drive everyday (especially w/ lots of hills). Unless you plan on big power, a heavy duty full disc will prolly be the best for you.

Agreed, for a mildly moded car on stock turbo, an ACT SS clutch is perfectly streetable.

You can swap a lighter flywheel if you want, helps throttle response a bit. The flywheel is held on by a pretty impressive nut however so you'll have to be determined.
