does any one have a good detailed pic of underneath the car around the transmission mount it would help a lot thanks

i was changing my clutch and immediately noticed that there was some jerry rigged tranny mount and not the stock mounts i would like to see a pic ture of what stock should look like and what parts i need to get to fix it.

i went to the local junk yards and dismantlers and they didnt really have any second gen stuff lots of first gen though.

Does the jerry rigged part have two pieces of metal running from the tranny mount crossmember to the mounts welded to the body?

no they drilled wholes in the floor and bolted some strap to something that looks stock

Page 7A-4 of the FREE online FSM has a picture of the transmission mounts and transmission.

In other words the TRANSMISSION SECTION of the free, online FSM, that can be downloaded for .....free.
