k if ive got a stock 86 gxl i was thinking of taking off the cats and putting a k and n air filter into it. What do you guys think.

or if you can i would like to know some other stuff i can do to make it faster. any imput would be helpful

For stage 1:
Intake, exhaust, cold air box, fresh air headlight scoop, perf. cats, better ignition (ie high voltage amp for the spark plugs)

For stage 2-3

I'm not sure if the GXL's automatic transmission can handle extreem performance mods like a supercharger or ported engine. For the supercharged setup you might want a performance ECU as well.
