Can't tell about the cas plug. Does not look like a series four plug.

Thats the first series five intake manifold I've ever seen and that explains why I shouldn't ever try to explain where the vac hose go on a series five. Different from a series four.

With that disclaimer, and seeing as how your post is slowly going to be buried in the old posts if someone does not answer............The very bottom circle is for the primary injectors air bleeds. That pipe is looking for a source of filtered fresh air.

Lets count the circles from left to right. Number one is for the secondary air bleeds(my guess), number two is the primary injectors air bleeds, number three is a vacuum source for your fuel pressure regulator(my guess). Should go to the solenoid that is orange. Number four is another fuel injector air bleed(my guess), number five is???????Not even a guess from me.

Ther air bleeds could be capped off. Not the source of air for the fpr though. On that one you could just run a hose from there to the fpr and forget about the orange solenoid.

So...to the top.

thxs a lot! so whats the purpose of air bleeds for the injectors? I was thinking maybe some of those vacuum lines had to do with the oil injectors...

Yeah. I see now that part C is there in both places. Disregard. Go back to the http://www.mazdatrix.com/g3.htm and note how not all rx mounts are the same. Perhaps you have one for another application?????

I don't think any of those nipples is oil injector related. But as you know, I've never seen a series five intake before. Just keep in mind.....the oil injectors do not get a vacuum put on them. So you need to find the source of a non vacuum air source. On a series four, its a nipple on the back of the throttle body that is larger than the ones shown in the picture. So, this should bump you to the top, where someone who has a series five can tell you whats what.(I'm pretty sure about the ones I described, but still just a guess.

I believe the air bleeds for the fuel injectors somehow help the spray pattern. Got me. Reted, I believe, said he caps his off and it has no effect on his engine.

well that mount looks the exact same as the one in the FSM.. the mount isn't missing anything.

was the car auto before?? if so they the mount won't bolt into the car. and you'll have to custom make something.

and since I've got the FSM open... if you look on F2-7 you can see that that vac nipple on the bottom between the oil injectors goes to a nipple on the UIM towards the firewire. since you don't have the injection I'm sure you can cap both.

I have been going through tht FSM for pix of that mount too, and no my car was not an AUTO before, i just swapped in the same year t2 drivetrain. Well i will go work on it now, you got me pumped! ahah hit ya back in a couple hours.

Frankly, I don't remember right now exactly why. I remember the turbo car needed something on the mount (something broke) and I said, hey I've got a couple in the shed. Well they were n/a and did not have the same shape. I'm at work so I can't look under the n/a and turbo cars right now. See MAZDATRIX.COM and you'll see they have seperate part numbers. Transmissions are different, n/a and turboII.

dam I just thought of that and was gona post it... is that a mount from a turbo II? you need the mount that came from that tranny. an N/A one won't work. and it might even have to be the same series turbo II one.
