Need help with Trans swap

I have a 91 RX7 and I just completed a A/T tranny swap to a 5 speed, and my car wont start. I can bump start the car but for some reason the darn starter wont kick in or even try to engage. I'm guessing it might have something to do with the neutral safety switch...? is there someone out there that can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated..
thanks

It's the ground. I had the same problem.

There are 3 grounds that you need to hook up. One is a small black box looking ground with a ring on it, Bolts the clutch slave cylinder. Second is the at the top of the transmissions it's like a spade connector, hooks onto the firewall near the top. The third is a wire that bolts on the transmission with one of the bolts at the top left of the bellhousing to engine. The wire should be coming from the group of wires that runs down from the battery to the starter. Took me 2 hours to figure out what the hell was going on....

Hope this helps.

if you have an 88up then it could be the neutral switch but it probally is a ground problem so check it and see.

nope, its not the ground wires....all ground wires are connected...?!....i don't have any ground wire from the top of the tranny to the firewall...never had one...but i do have the other two that you mentioned...must be something else.....i even wired both the clutch and safety switch direct, and swaped out starters..and still nothing...!
this thing has got me stumped...!?

Its not going to fix your problrm: BUT!!!! You MUST HAVE the ground from the top of the tranny to the Ground connection by the Windshield wiper motor. You will have strange electrical symptoms if you don't. John

give a little more info, does the starter even turn?, if not its either a ground r a power issue. did u unplug the a/t cpu?, i had a ground promblem, solved it by running a 4 ga. wire from the neg. battery post to one of the bolts on the starter, how did u hook up the siloniod on the starter? u have to rewire the seloniod wire directly to the ign. switch (sorry don't remeber which one off hand), i thinks it yellow and black.
