Need Help Starting - Late to Work

Tried deflood about 5 times.

Car wil turn over and even ignite once or twice, but won't keep running.
White smoke, not coolant.

Turned it on and off a lot last night. About 6 or 7 times, short runs. (Needed to mess with the steering wheel and needed power steering)

About three hours after I finished cycling it on and off I moved it about 40 feet then shut it off for the night.

Suggestions on where to go next?

Thanks,
Cody

If you stay on the gas will it stay running?

No.

Poor man's compression test is good for both rotors. Spark plugs look fucked. Dark brown/black, with deposits growing on them. I scraped some of the crap off, but no help.

<Vent> This is no good. I have a lot of work for today since I have a big release on Monday. </vent>

I took a long screwdriver, shoved it in the rear rotor trailing spark plug wire and shorted it against the firewall then tried starting it. I heard a very slight crackling. I expected a larger spark. Good sign? Bad sign?

Also, it looks and sounds like it wants to start. It sounds exactly like it does just before it actually catches and goes.

And a bit of non-coolant white smoke in the engine bay when starting. Not sure, but could be anything, up to and including water evaporating. (It's wet out.)

Sounds like it, but it's worth a shot.

You mean you tried 4 new plugs and still nothing?

If it was still flooded you could have fouled those as well.

Got her running. To say I flooded that car would be to say the Titanic was a dinghy. There was such a cloud of white smoke when I was done I thought a bomb had gone off in that thing.

It was all fuel and no coolant, so no worries there.

Basically, I ended up pulling the injector fuse and cranking for about 20 seconds in 4-second intervals before replacing the fuse and starting it and it ran rough for about 20 seconds while I tried to give it a high idle before it would run a smooth high idle. After about a minute I took my foot of the gas and it was good to go.

The EGI fuse most likely.
