need help picking out a quiet muffler

i have a fc with a 3 inch downpipe and a gutted cat and from the cat i have a single 3 inch pipe that goes to the back of the car to convert it to a single exhaust...i am looking to buy a performance muffler which will still sound good (not to loud) i was wondering if maybe somebody that has 3 inch single exhaust can recomend a muffler to buy which will still sound good even though i have straight 3 inch pipe to the back

thanx

Man there is no way you are gonna get that thing quiet in my opionon I think the best way to cut down on sound is to use a Y pipe and split it... Otherwise just buy a silencer .... I dunno

since you have a t2 you shouldn't have too much trouble silencing it. I would reccomend splitting it and using two mufflers. Pass-through mufflers with silencer inserts do a good job of quieting the exhaust.
