Should I take her to the shop?

We don't have a rotary shop here in Franklin (closest to me is K.Landers) My car is running like crap and i am sick of it...My o2 sensor is seized up in the RB header , so i can't put the one I bought in it...the car has a pretty rough idle "rrrr.rrrrrrrrrr.r.rr.rrrrr.rr" I don't know a lot about tuning the 13b FI motors. My expereience is with 12A's but it is getting rediculous..I am getting 170 miies to a tank of gas. I have replaced the plugs wires ect but the plugs are fouling out every week..... Should i take it to the dealer or a hillbilly shop or what...

If it goes to the dealer it ain't coming back...... find a reputable mazda mechanic in your area, or keep asking the forum to see if you can do the work yourself.

To start with why not just pull one plug from each housing and check compression to be sure the engine is not shot. Turn it over to be certain there is equal compression in both rotors. If that proves to be good, then you'll need to attack other items.

damn, full timer......i don't think the dealer will help much though......take it to the shop u said earlier; K. Landers, but find out how reputable they are so you don't get any nasty surprises. Good Luck.

If you can't do the work yourself, and Kevin landers is not far from you, I suggest taking the car to him. He's straight up and you'll get an answer as to what the problem(s) is.
