Need help on improving cornering ability
I got a 90 vert, and handling is ok, not too bad, too much body roll...thinking of getting front and rear sway bars and a strut tower bar.
Any other suggestions? Which mods give you the best bang for your buck?

Suspension is always the best cheap upgrade you can make on a Vert, besides exhaust and an intake.
For about $1500 in mods, you can be pulling about .90 g's. For that kind of money, you can get performance springs and shocks all around (stock type, not adjustable coilovers), front and rear sway bars, front ant rear strut tower bars (although I think the verts come with a rear already), a and a complete set of suspension bushings, and maybe have enough left over to get them installed. Add in another $1500 for some good wheels and tires, and you'll be able to get close to 1.0 g. Another grand for some coilovers and DTSS elimination, and you should be at or slightly over 1.0 g.
These prices are for all new parts. You can get some used stuff in decent shape if you shop around.
Of course, you are already at somewhat of a disadvantage as compared to a hardtop, due to the lack of the structural integrity that roof would have provided.

you can pick up set of kyb agx shocks from www.k2rd.com for $355. best shock for the money. and add a set of eibach or ST springs. eibach is a softer ride.
sway bars will help get rid of the body lean too. a strut bar will help cornering a bit. don't know if you can get a rear one for a vert.
most important thing is a good set of tires.

definately go with some springs and struts...it's amazing the difference it will make.
I also have the swaybars and a struttower brace. VERY solid ride. Oh, if you don't have 17" wheels that will also make a big difference in the handleing...
