Need Help To Id Switch(fsm Needed)

I'm at work and something's goin on with the FC3S website so I can't look at the FSM.

I need some one to check the TUrbo Transmission section and tell me the part number or the exact name for the switch on the back of the transmission.

It it located on the drivers side rar right near the shifter.

It threads in and faces towards the driveshaft.

It's not the one on the pass side which is shallow and faces the pass side door.

I need to buy one from Mazdatrix but I want to make sure it's the right part.

Thx so much.

well It's the 5th gear/ reverse switch but there is no mention of a part number.

Mazdatrix couldn't find it without that and they just closed.

Does any one know where to get the part number for it?

I'm fucked without this thing.

Well I went to the dealership since I found one close to work. I didn't call them for one good reason. Dealership people are idiots when it comes to our cars..........

I was there for about 20 minutes for him to tell me the part was Obsolete. He never gave me a part number and said he had to contact mazda.

The number I saw on the screen was something like
17-640A

SOOOOOOO...............
Does anyone here know the 5th/Back up light part number?

OK Again like I've stated Dealer ships SUCK ***!!!!!

They said I have to wait until Monday for when they get an answer from Mazda on the part.

Can some one get me the part number? Without this part I can't drive my car and I have to get to work!

Assuming it's replacable with the trans in the car (I've never bothered to look), that switch is not stopping the car from being driven. All it does is tell the ECU when you're in 5th and turn the reverse lights on.

Well Mazda, Checker, and NAPA all say it is discontinued for the turbo model and there's no way to order it.

They recommended a Junk Yard. So I have to take a day off of work to drive t one to see if they have it.

Does anyone have an extra they can sell?

I don't want to finish a Turbo conversion and leave something like this just fucked up.
