Need help with hesitation

Okay I was driving one day and all the sudden my car just would not boost it would just bogg down everytime I got on the gas. I though maybe I got some bad gas or something but now it's kind of strange. I can drive around and it at any throttle I give it I get hesitation and I have no power. But when it is really warm sometimes, not all the time, I will get boost and have all my power back. I took it on a drive the other day and I was driveing for about 3 hours and only one time it actually built boost and got power. What is funny is when it does run like normal it won't stay, it seems like it will last until I get to a stop or have to slow down and coast for a little bit. Has anyone had this problem?

My car did the same thing today. It was the intercooler outlet. I forgot to tighten the hose clamp down when i put it all together so it started to pop out under boost...

Well I checked out the hoses and they are all on and seem fine. I mayde a leak tester but I have to wait untill tomorrow to use a air compressor. But from a visual point they seem fine. I have delt with boost leaks before in my DSM but this doesn't seem the same. Like in my DSM when I was off on my tunning I would get knock and that is kind of what it feels like. The car just has no power, so I let off and sometimes it will run fine but then it will start again. Also I have noitced that when it runs right it starts to hesitate a little toward the top of the rpms, but not all the time.

Hmmmm...?? Did you test the fule presure at the rail and see what rate the pump is flowing at? High RPM hesitations are generaly a fule delivery issue. Maybe cloged injectors? Allso check the voltage at the pump. the harnesses tend to not be a good connection to the pump and get low voltage.

I also get hesitation at 2000 rpms, all the way through 7000rpms. it has not got better in any of the rpm range. I have to let off the gas and then hit it again and sometimes it will run fine then, I'll get to a stop sign or have to slow down and then I have NO POWER. If you have ever felt knock you'll know what I"m talking about. Because that is what it feels like, and when you get knock the only way to stop it is to let off so the computer can rest your timming. But this car is stock. I'm not running the **** out of it I'm just crusing around, the fastest I go is maybe 60 kph. When I took it out on the autobahn the other day after I replace the fuel filter and o2 and nothin. But on the way back I got on it and all the sudden I took off. I went through all my gears and no problems. I hit my exit and stopped when I went to pull out into traffic I had nothin. I thought I was driving a little opel. I mean I could have ran faster then my car accelerated. But the turbo was going like crazy just nothin was happening.

Well if I have time this week I'm going to do a leak test and gut my cat and see if that helps.

If you can use premix on Turbo's try that...I have a N/A S4 and I put 8oz of 2 cycle oil to a half tank of gas and it solved my hesitation problem....yours sounds electrical though...

If it is electrical. CPU, ECU, Coils, CAS, TPS

The care will run on one coil pack just so you know if your testing it.
