Need help to help my dad.

My dad is being awesome and helping me put my car back together so it can be shipped to me here in FL. he say that there is oil smoke coming from under the turbo. and the car takes a while to idle below 2500 then below 1500. he also states he has to floor it for the car to start. the BAC coolant is bypassed and the thorttle body was just ported. he put the TB on the car for me. the car is a JDM s4 13B-T. my dad is more old school and familiar with newer GM cars mainly trucks. any help to help him being 1000miles away would be great

that is my guess. but it is hard for him to tell me things over the phone. i ask him what the boost/vac gauge was at. he replied 0. i asked if he had it hooked up he replied i don't think so where does it go. and i forgot where i had it. it is an aftermarket boost gauge. and it has been about a year since i installed it then got ship to FL for the navy

Try to find someone local on the forums who can stop by and take a look to help get the car running. Otherwise ship it as it is???

Car needs the TPS re-adjusted.. All those symptoms are common with that. Easy to do.

Also, the car will always start that way *requiring pressing the gas pedal* when its modded that way. Mine is the same way.
