need help getting car started!!!

first off i had my motor flooded and it seemed like it didnt want to start but only cranked...so what i did was pull the fuses and plugs and cranked it up to let all the fuel spit out...then got some new NGK spark plugs and also added in the new 9MM spark plug wires that came with it and when i turned the key....there was a pop sound almost like a backfiring sound and the car didnt seem to crank as usual...all it did was pop and the whole starting procedure became way different because now the car will not even crank up and when u put the key to the ON position u could see all the lights comin on and when u try cranking it up all youll hear is one click and then kills all the power to the car and notice that all the lites that were on is now gone...anychance that the starter went out cause it doesnt even want to crank or anything...anybody...

my car would somtimes do that and i would just sit there in the freezing cold and keep hitting the key...sometimes for minutes at a time......but i would try putting the clutch in and with it out over and over again...i dont know if all 7s do this but my car will start without the clutch in...but do not attempt with the car in gear lol...but it would eventually start. just keep trying...if that doesnt work...try cleaning of the power and ground wires to the starter and where tey connect to the starter and then tightening them down...

Battery is probably drained take it to get recharged at autozone for free before its too late and you need a new battery.

corroded terminals or fuses probably. Remember that the starter pulls way more power than the whole rest of your car's electronics combined so they may work just fine till you try the starter. I had this exact same problem and it turned out to be corroded battery terminals(wasn't visible). All I had to do was wipe them off with a rag and she fired right up.

The starter is fairly easy to replace and you could probably buy one from your local autoparts store, try it and then return it if that isn't the problem.
