Talking need help with fuel injectors

I have an 89 rx-7 convertible NA and I am trying to replace my fuel injectors but am having trouble locating the secondary injectors. I need help finding out where they are and what is the easiest way to get to them.

Try following the fuel line from the fuel filter all the way to the end where the injectors are. You should have two fuel rails, one for primary and another for secondary, and they are both hooked up in series. I have a TII, and after I took off the throttle body, it was pretty easy to spot. I'm not sure about an NA.

The fuel line leads under the intake manifold. How much do I have to remove to get to them.

The secondary injectors are the ones that you can see on the upper intake manifold directly under the black plastic throttlebody elbow. You need to remove the upper half of the intake manifold to see the primary fuel injectors. They are mounted on the center housing of the engine itself immediately after the air enters the engine from the intake manifold. If you replace the injectors, be very careful not to damage the plastic inserts that go under them. Also be sure to change ALL the rubber O-rings on all the injectors you remove. Make sure everything is seated perfectly. It is very easy to get a fuel leak and not know it. Why are you replacing yours?

Go to www.iluvmyrx7.com and download the Factory Service Manual. You only need the EFI chapter for this job. All the info you need in is there, including instructions on how to remove the injectors.

BTW, on an NA the injectors you can see on top of the manifold are the secondaries. The primaries are hidden underneath the manifold.

I think he's mistaking the secondaries for the primaries.

I was mistaken on those fuel injectors. The picture and instructions are a big help for those of us not so mechanically inclined.
