its not that bad just make sure you dont brake the lines.
if you break the line get ready to tear down the hole intake system to the bones and i mean bare motor almost

Its not that horrible, However, its not that easy.

You have a copper gasket that covers four lines and four copper washers on the injectors themselves coming from the pump and to the intake and housings. I doubt it would be leaking from there, unless the bolts are really loose. The leak is probably coming from an oval shapped rubber gasket that sits on the inside and seals the pump to front cover. So that's 3.00 bucks.

One other important thing is to torque the oil pump to the exact torque specification range recomended by mazda. Off the top of my head its like 5lbs or something but check to make sure! Its Not a lot though. Don't over torque it or things get shitty.

Be very very careful with the oil injector lines as was said earlier. I mean really careful. They are very brittle when old. 20 bucks a line and some un wanted throttle body mess if they are ruptured.

You'll have to flush the coolent system while you're there because the lower coolent hose will have to be removed, along with the water pump. So be sure to get these related gaskets too and some RTV.

You could always just dump the OMP all together in favor of some premix, thats what i plan on doing when i get my new motor in.
