Need help! Compression test!
Well I had just recieved my J-spec engine and I had to tear it down to install my S4 crap on it. Anyways for the hell of it I thought I would turn the engine over buy hand to see how it sounds compared to mine. Well let me tell you, I hope alittle MMO will clear it up! It is very ill, my blown rotor sounds better than the two combined!
Anyways Is do I need to have the exhaust and intake manifolds on to do a compression test? Oh BTW if you are wondering I am going to try and hook up the starter to it to get it to turn. Not unless there is any other way that you might know of if so please let me know!
I read about ppl using impact guns/wrenches any other Ideas, I think/hope the starter idea might work......
Oh BTW DO NOT buy a Jspec UNLESS you plan on just getting it rebuilt OR if you can hand pic it yourself!
