need help car flooding

VA need help car flooding

i have a 88 with a s5 tII swap it will start but then run rich shut down then ill try to restart and fuel will come out of the down pipe i know this due to no mid section any ideas any advice i would say can help

VA trying to explain my issue

ok hears what ive got going on the car starts flooding so theres this box that looks like a resistor behind the passanger headlamp assembly Ill unhook it and hear a click its the injectors closing the car will run then shut off due to no fuel i hook it back up and the car starts flooding as i hear the injectors click back open ive checked my connection with looking at a running 7 and have gone through wiring diags with the repair manual and alldata its a strange problem

just install a fuel cut off switch...go to wal mart n buy a toggle switch for 2 bucks and when it floods, turn the pump off and floor the car...it will crank right up and turn the pump back on. this happens to a ton of rx--7s

The fuel cut switch won't do him any good if the car floods while its running.

Your injectors probably need cleaning or are stuck open. Either swap them with known working ones or have them checked out.

VA begging for a solution

ok i hear alot about the injectors that is a great place for me to start but a quick question. Should i still hear the injectors click on and if my pulse is good than that sounds like a area to start with but could there be more

VA problem found

after doining some loooking around i found the issue a injector wire was open and grounding itself to the upper intake mani the car runs fine and guess this info could be used as some help for others
