Need help... all kinds of problems...

Ok so I've posted before about stuff but I'm sick of all the stuff that's wrong with my car. So this could be a long one. I own a 87 TII stock besides the cat back exahaust which I was told was after market, and looks to be. And my engine was just replaced in june... so it's only got like 6 k on the engine...

1) My car has been over heating... but not entirely like sometimes it's perfect and other's it gets really hot and then it just drops to normal running temperature. Also sometimes coolant will actually run out of my car... (leak?)

2) I've got a terrible exhaust leak. I'm assuming it's because I'm running to rich. When I rev it up a little I get this cool back fire... BOP! or sometimes ...BOpBOP!!
Now I get a new exhaust leak about everything 3-4month. In the past they've been bareable, so I lived with them... But currently my car has adapted a 7.6 liter diesel turbo truck sound. (I don't really like it)

3) It's idles really rough. After it's warmed up it runs alright but it's still rougher than it should.

4) My tachometer doesn't function... My buddy jumped my car and he got the cables backwards... no damage was done to his but I lost my alternator and my tachometer stopped working.

5) I have a system. and I've never had a problem with it... But recently my music has been skipping and streching (kinda sound it makes), The odd part is that it seems to do it as I vary my drive style... Sometimes when I brake... or sometimes when I put the gas down... and it just seems funny... I mean it very weel could be my cd player but I'm doubting it cause I never get away with finding the easy way out when it comes to my 7...

Iknow these questions are really a pain in the ***... But I'd really apreciate some help... cause I gotta a decent income tax check on the way... so I wanna get it all mechanically sound...

thanks

1) Check your Fan, and your thermo. That leak is on the pump or from the engine? If it is the pump then maybe it has gone bad and you need a new one.
2)As far as I know an exhaust leak is caused by having a gap between two of the pipes in the exhaust(in my case I had one at the stock mani where it mated to the engine. NOTE***this caused my car to overheat cuz of the exhaust gases in the engine bay) you should tighten every nut and bolt up on the exhaust. If that does not work then you might have a gasket that is bad or has gone bad over time. Check all the conections on the exhaust. As for backfire that is normal unless it does it every other second.
3)Idle is going to be tough to fix cu it can be so many things. your TPS, BAC, could be out of tune or faulty.
4)Check all your fuses and the connections to the tachometer.
5)The electrical system in the FC is weak and should not be taxed so heavily. I suggest that you disconect your system for now and fix the other electrical problems first and then fix the system.
