Need to get away from RX7's for a while...
I'm frustrated, upset, and saddened every time I walk out the door because for the last 4 years I've always managed to have a broken FC parked in my front yard waiting for my attention. For a while now they've all been broken, including my black/black S5. I've got two projects now that I've been working on for almost a year...mostly waiting on parts and laziness. One is an ultra light that is far from running, but will be this summer's project car. The second is my S5. I'm tired, though, and sad. I need to get rid of them and get some projects going that will be less tempramental and pick up another FC later in life when I can afford to do the things I want to do. So, if there's any one interested in the following discription, please take this frustration off my hands...
89 FC N/A, Black/Black, very nice paint...being turned into the future home of a T3. S4 block (lower compression, better for turbocharging), air pump and related equipment removed, all emmisions equipment removed/replaced with dummy equipment. Will not pass smog! Only thing preventing it from running right now are the lack of two "Air Bleed Diffusers" that can be purchased readily from the dealer or many other places for $20 a piece. Healights do not work, easy fix. Driver's side seatbelt does not work, dealer will fix for free. Everything else is great...seats are great and not faded, carpet is great, interior in excellent shape...needs new speakers.
Everything as is=$1500obo with good engine.
Minus engine if you want it to be stock=$1000obo

yeah...supes and sevens are my dream cars...I have to choose between my three rexes and my two supras...keeping the 89 and the ultralight (for a while) and the rest are gone.

80000miles on car...45000 on the engine. It's an S4 NA block...out of the engines I had on hand this one seemed ideal for my eventual goals. I had planned to do an NA-T conversion using either a CT-26 or a T-3 next winter, but I'm tried of it. I can have pictures in the next day or two...need to hunt down my buddy's digicam.

Yeah I'll tow it for a gas/food/trip prep/etc...and a non-refundable deposit (to cover my time form work...wouldn't be that much, my time is cheap...lol).

Hi, I would be doomy's friend. I live in milwaukee, and well, am very interested =o Id love if you could send me some pics, mccartjr@notes.udayton.edu would be the preferred address. Id also be willing to put up some extra money to get the seatbelt + headlights taken care of (as you say its an easy fix, if you could take care of those before selling it would probably be a lot easier than me trying to figure out whats wrong). Anyway, please email me back asap with pictures, I could have the money as soon as you could make it up here. By the way, i live in milwaukee, WI. Uhm, im trying to think if there is anything else to mention... oh ya, what exactly is the status of the exhaust system? is it a custom setup or are the cats + muffler removed, or what? I was a bit confused by your description and would love to find out exactly what is and isnt there. Thanks a lot, i Eagerly await your reply =p
