nice car man. awesome about the go kart too. most people arent rude on the tech side, but alot of people hate drifting unless they actually drift an RX-7. hope you didnt get the wrong impression of the forum already, some people are pretty nice. good luck with the car.

kjeep the vert wheels unless you go aftermarket. good weight reduction for drifting since they weigh 11 lbs.

i would say for the sound system either make one box that sits in the back or put the speakers in your rear storage bins/amp in the middle. but its up to you. welcome to the club

I have often wonder how to set up a nice system, but lack the need for it, and dont want the extra weight. maybe a show car with a nice custom one one day

High school is a BREEZE. I got out with a good GPA, got accepted to the college I wanted to go to, and didn't do a damn bit of work. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to brag. This situation is true for almost everyone I know.

I've learned a lot about myself from working on my 7. I've done ALOT more work on that than most things in my life. However, I've learned that if I work hard enough on something, I CAN do it. When I bought my car, the only thing I knew how to do was put gas in it. Now, I can do everything short of a rebuild. I only can't do that because I don't have the tools/time. I still "waste my time" on my car and I'm going to be graduating from college in December.
Can you quantify how much of your car skills helped you get ahead in life?

ok im sorry but i have to say something.

whoever said that "unlesss you are 30 or older STFU"... you are an idiot. first of all, seeing someone die doesnt make you a smarter, better, or more mature person. ANd yes, at only 17 years of age, i have seen both a fatal car accident, and in my childhood city i was around drive-by shootings, one of which my brother was the victim of, he survived, his friend wasn't so lucky.

so please, SPARE me your oh-so vast and unparallelled "30 years or older" perspective. don't speak in generalizations, because you don't know as much as you think you do about some of us teenagers eh?

and i will now apologize. you are not an idiot. but you did rather offend me with that post. i had to say something.

We're done here. It would take way too much effort to clean this thread up. No point really.
