Need diagram of starter solenoid wiring...
Hey guys,
Yes i have searched but all the posts were misleading.
Im trying to get rid of that friggen click click problem!!!.
I bought a new starter solenoid.. I took the old one off and replaced it with the new solenoid... i am pretty sure i put everything back right.. However when i try to connect the battery again i get sparks. Im not risking my car, i would rather ask.. and i am sure the sparks at the terminals are normal..
Battery is new, terminals are new, grounds are all redone.. i Think is is the ignition switch.. can anybody help me!?!?!?
If Icemark of Aaron is out there, pls help!

First of all, why not just replace the WHOLE STARTER, it would be a lot easier, and the motor in the starter gets old and the gear (might) wear as well. I don't understand when you are getting spark, is it when you try to reconnect the battery after the starter is installed. I hope you wherent installing the starter with the battery connected to the car...

Sparks?..when you connect the Battery?..You sure you got the Terminals Correct?..It is very Easy to Reverse the Polarity..That is why I Mark MY Positive Cable with a Piece of RED TAPE..it Saves Fuses, and Frustration!..and Unless you have Something ON,the "sparking" is NOT Normal..(my car just Scares the **** out of me when I connect the Battery!..the Talking Alarm Blasts: "Thank YOU !"..haha!)

No i did not work on the car with the battery connected.......
No i did not reverse the polarity of the battery wires....
I thought that i had wired the solenoid right, however when i went to plug the battery back in i got a spark....
All i am asking is where does the wire from the starter connect to the solenoid??
I have refered to the FSM, i am suprised to see that no where, or at least not in plain view in the 'STARTER SYSTEM' section can i find any info on what i need.
My starter is fully rebuilt, alt rebuilt, new battery, redone grounds... I am replacing the solenoid to see if the ignition switch is the problem...
