Get a heavy set 4 or 6 puck clutch then. Careful though, not enough power for some of those and you make find yourself stalling a lot.

I have a 6 puck on na power.. and it is retarded.

It grabs hard, had shifts hard..

It also chatters, shocks the drivetrain, feels like ****, & undrivable by anyone but a few people I know.

Just get a stage 2 if you want it to hold a good amount.. a puck clutch is just a hassle on the street

Proven goodness for daily driving. Have one myself in my n.a fc, couldnt ask for anything better. Don't know how much power each stage can hold, would have to look into it.

Question did urs have the dampener springs? I ended up getting a 6puck dampened stage 2 wit an ACT streetlite flywheel. Then I realized I got the Turbo set. Flywheel is bout an inch bigger right, so now that I look at the starter, do I have to change the gear on that to make it fit with the flywheel?

Send it back, dumbass. It won't fit unless you get a Turbo drivetrain. You'll need a turbo transmission and everything else.

A heavy duty street clutch would have worked fine...

Why not just get an Exedy stage two kit? It'll hold up just fine.

how much power do you have? not alot? theres no reason for youre 6 puck unsprung high hp ****. unless you enjoy a clutch that operates like an on/off switch. in my opinion that is not streetable

A third party site who listed various sites selling the same set dif prices, chose gripmotor sports and got it like that. I don't know why it wasn't listed maybe lazy f*** who just posted brand & model no trim. N it was just one of those mistakes you do feel me. It's not like I actually tried installation! Lol

OK so today is the day I work on the clutch hopefully the new one arrives on time. My question is now because the book doesn't do so well in explaining, the after market counterweight, does it bolt on to the flywheel or the block? From what I have seen it seems it goes on the block but at first I thought it would be the flywheel so it can spin with it n balance it out. Idk can anyone help?

If you have an auto counterweight, you need an aftermarket flywheel. Unbolt the factory fly, bolt on the counterweight, bolt aftermarket fly to counterweight.

Finally all in and running like a queen! My comets equipped with a stage 3 F1racing and some solid aluminum motor mounts. Now although it runs before cranking it I was nervous about one wire that I thought needed to n plugged but luckily didn't.

This wire is a ground wire grounded to the bell housing. Does anyone know were it goes to? What circuit does it ground?

If it's on the driver side of the bellhousing, it could be the broken pigtail of the oil pressure condensor.
On the passenger side it's most likely a stock Mazda ground wire that connects to a male spade connector bolted on the firewall near the wiper motor.

Thanks and yea it was the ground to firewall! Was in class last night adding more ground to frame and saw the male clip and realize it belonged with that wire.
