Angry Need Brake Help!

okay so ive replaced my brake booster and my master cylinder, there are no leaks in the system because ive replaced all the lines, but i cannot really bleed the brakes. as i pump the brakes, they dont build any pressure, they just stay all soggy. does anyone have any advice?

If you are bleeding them per the FSM, I'd say check your master cylinder or booster.

How are you bleeding them? Having a helper tighten and loosen the bleeder screw as you work the peddle?

^ So true, bleeding is a two man job, really. Well... have you had any experience with the bleeding kits? Do they work?

yes my brother and i are bleeding them but as i pump and pump and pump the pedal there is no pressure building, the pedal just stays soft. He keeps opening and closing the valves but it doesnt appear to be helping. keep in mind this is a new master cylinder and brake booster.

It is soft(er) when you've got the line open. Line open, pedal down, line closed, pedal up. Start with the rear pass. then rear driver, followed by front pass and front driver. And on the back, top is only for air, get the air out then bleed the fluid through the bottom ones.

I'm sure you've read it all before, but here's to reading it again.

All right, try this- totally remove the bleeder screw on the pass side rear caliper (the top screw). Put your finger over the hole and keep it there. Refill the MC with good fluid. Pump the brake pedal 3 or 4 times.

Lots of fluid should come out, this should prime the MC quickly. Release the brake peddle and reinstall the bleeder.

Now bleed the system normally again and see if that helped...

no, no i did not. i think the problem might be the little rod that sticks out of thr brake booster not touching the master cylinder. if i pump the brakes with one of the lines into the master cylinder unplugged, fluid just barely drips out. im going to try to adjust the rod tomorrow, hopefully it helps.
