Atleast i attempt to do research.

BTW 200 pounds of a difference isn't worth crap..

I know because ive Owned both cars.. And i know stock to stock the advantaged and disadvantages are.. Have fun.
dont be a dick... dick.

i would suggest doing more than 30 seconds of research before posting something like that... especially w/ faulty info. its people like you that give boards a bad name by propagating bunk info..

maybe YOU dont know how to drive... maybe i can dial in my car and never be more than a couple hundreths off my dial in.. maybe i can cut .550 lights all day long.. maybe YOU suck at racing. trust me sport, you have no idea who you are talking to. i lived half an hour away from Norwalk Raceway park in Ohio. i went there every wednesday night for the brackets and Fridays for the test 'n' tune throughout the summers.

i think you need to stop being so cocky and search on the internet more than 30 seconds and not be sportin shitty information and making stupid *** claims like 200 lbs isnt worth ****... cuz DOES make a difference. 20 lbs doesnt but 200 lbs is a different story.

my "buddy" was my neighbor while i was at college and his car was cherry. it lighter 5-star rims, not the "swirlies". its the first time i ever drove his car and i ran about half a second faster than he did in it.

you just need to calm the **** down and take it easy

btw, i do more research than you know. so dont act like you should get a freakin cookie cuz you made a half assed attempt at getting some info

You are confusing... You talk about bull crap info, when you wont even take the time to look it up. Atleast i posted something useful other than cheap talk. You cannot judge a car by driving "your buddy's" car.. You don't know what that engine has been through it's entire life, or if its properly running. And how are "my numbers gay" If you don't even have proof to back up that the numbers are wrong? Sure autotrader may have goofed, but i think you just are embarrassed that i proved you wrong, because the face is that numbers dont lie. I simply put the number comparison to show you that you can't judge the car by the way it looks pal.

Ok so sorry buddy, i "dont know who i am talking to", You need to realize that you should start hitting the books.

So now the story flip flops and you try to use this against me? I don't care if you live close to a track and go there every week, It still doesnt prove anything to me.

"my "buddy" was my neighbor while i was at college and his car was cherry. it lighter 5-star rims, not the "swirlies". its the first time i ever drove his car and i ran about half a second faster than he did in it."
Also.. the Probe and the Mx-6 are two different cars.. Sure they may have the same drivetrain, but there are very many differences, one including weight.

you just need to calm the **** down and take it easy

Why such the hostility? I posted this info for someone who is going to race an mx-6, so he knows what he is dealing with, not to get a "freakin cookie". I dont care what i look like on the forums, i have more important things to tend to such as working on 30 million dollar helicopters 5 days a week.

So its a half assed attemt to get info, if i know somewheres that has this info i want.. That just means i dont need to spend 4 hours looking up something that simple.

It's a driver's race. and yes 200lbs means a lot. I raced a friend of mine with a TII that had removed about 180lbs worth of junk. Out of 3 races I beat him once, and I am a far superior driver than he is (not superior to everyone. Just him. I don't claim to be a racing god like most forum people do.) He was winning because he has roughly 2 tenths of a second on me simply due to weight. We put the stuff back on his car, and I whooped him all 3 times. The one I had beat him on before was because he had faultily shifted and therefore lost his .2
thats just my $0.02

well guys, i know a fair amount about both mx-6's and probes. there isnt much that you guys can teach me about the cars. the car i dont know about is the rx-7 thats why i asked what i asked. thanks evryone for your input and tips, but unfortunately i lost.

me him
.502 .588
2.35 2.54
15.87 15.24
92mph 96mph

he also added 3" mandrel bent exhaust with no muffler or resonator, just to race me. he already had a cai, and later i found out that he had a stage 2 clutch and fidenza flywheel. so more mods + omre baseline power + decent driver= me losing.

i have no interior, lightweight rims with r-compound road race tires(i think those hurt me). 2.5 mandrel exhaust to single apexi n1. no cats. still have the stock intake. and evrything else. i think their 1/4 is screwy though. cuz my friend in that same car less exhaust ran a 16.1 at our local track. this track is an old airstrip that they just put beams on. im thinking that its short.
