i seriously hope you were joking. about the f&f thing. Nitrous is really pretty safe there paul walker. I hate to do this but im going to quote the movie. " Winning is winning". He can't say **** if you end up in front of him at the end of the race.

yes 3 inch is too big unless you have turbo, 2.5 perfect....yeah the mx6 has a lot of power but your 7 is light.....itll be close, the advantage you have is higher redline and weight....all he has is power.....my 7 can go past 7k, i sometimes in a close race just to beat somebody at the last second, i will go to 8k.

thats funny...my friends old 5.0 had NEVER been beaten by a Z28, theyre slow, i can even beat them in my 200hp 7, if all they have is exhaust of course. Mustangs aint fast either.....they always cap on imports being slow, theyre just as bad, bloated MFs.....you have to spend a crap load to get them fast too.........domestics can suck my *****....have a nice day guys

BTW, nitrous will eat the crap out of your apex seals....your engine will be dead in about a yr....my advise is to put intake, headers, straight pipe and maybe even a radical street port, save up for a TII, and then use that as your toy....then youll have 2 freakin fast rx7s

and bingoboy i think a car races when he revs up to me, then i rev back, he holds his rpms, i hold mine and we both pop the clutch, burn out and launch like a bat out of hell. yeah i think it was noticable when we hit 100mph. i cant help it if domestics are slobs of a car, where as imports can be just as fast while still getting 25mpg, and still only weighing 2600lbs....imports kick ***

street racing is bad m'kay. naw just kidding. i know that z28's are slow. i used to have a 2k v6 mustang and that could beat them. iwould stay side by side with the iroc's though. thanks for evryones help, this should be fun. i will post times too.

No offense, but you really need to do research on using nitrous with rotarys. Do a search, i guarantee you will benefit from it. Nitrous will in no way destroy your engine "in about a year" if you have it properly setup, and you are smart about when and how you use it.

The mx-6's redline is 7k bro.. do research before you post.
I've taken my old mx6 higher than 7k with no problem.

how the **** can the curb weight and the GVWR on the MX6 be the same number? youre numbers are gay.
the MX6 is a little heftier than the 7. and if its the stock suspension, itll unload the front tires SOOOooo bad when he launches it, itll spin all thru 1st gear... i promise. that car is good for a mid 16 second quarter. I drove my friends 94 Probe GT (same car) he had a Hot Shot CAI w/ a PRM filter and custom exhaust, i ran a 16.0 spinning the tires off the line and spinning a little in 2nd gear... those cars dont hook worth a damn, plus the weight transfer makes things worse... not to mention they are 200 lbs heavier.
w/ the way the FC squats during a launch, you should be able to take him off the line... chances are hes a punk *** kid and will get over zealous and spin his tires. your Redline is 7000 but your fuel cut is 7500 i beleive.
when you launch, slip the clutch a little, dont just dump it. if you dump it, youll spin the tires... thats a bad thing.
you have about 20 HP less than him stock, but you are 200 lbs lighter, plus you have RWD. if you drive right, youll take him

he isnt a punk kid and we are both pretty good at dragging. this is going to be at the track so no worries about tickets. he is a 28yr old father of 2. haha i will tell him that he is a punk kid. j/k. i think that i have more than a 200lb advantage since my car is practically a shell. either way it will be close. just all for fun.

good... your probably down in the 2500 range, maybe even lighter... and remember, every 10 lbs you remove is worth about 1HP at the wheels... so youve made up the HP difference at least.

the best i have been able to get out of my probe gt is 2.3-2.5's and all of my other probe friends get about the same #'s with 15.9 as the fastest probe in our group. granted thats not very fast for you guys but you ahve to remember that we are in salt lake at 4200ft. i dont think that the rx with the mods that it has will be able to hit high 16's i will be suprised if i run faster than 16.4
