Need advice: preliminary performance rebuild plans

Planning on building up my second engine this fall/winter.
Looking to target 400 to 450 reliable hp.

What would I require?

Thanks in advance for the helpful advice.

Money.

Your welcome.

(sorry I had to!)

Seriously every car is different and only you can do it the way you want.
My best advice is look at the Builds Section and pay attention to the parts, prices and how long the car has been running.

Money isn't an issue. Throwing it away on unreliable mods is.
I'll check the builds section, tx.

Any advice to help me in my research for reliable options would be greatly appreciated.

I hope that I didn't come off a little dry.

I have done a lot of trial and error and right now I got a fairly decent setup Dyno'd at 357Hp/303 tq on S5TII stock internals.
If you would like a list of what I have, feel free to pm me and I'll toss it your way.

If that were true, then you would pay a professional to build your car rather than asking the internet peanut gallery for help. FYI internet forum posts don't come with a warranty.

Start here:
FC3S Pro v2.0: From Mild 2 Wild - Power

Keep in mind that supporting mods will be required in addition to the engine, such as upgraded radiator, upgraded fuel system, upgraded clutch, etc.

The mod list from misterstyx69 should offer good insight.

I pay a professional to do the major work on my 2 VW's, which are my and my wife's daily drivers. The TII is the *fun* car and my enjoyment of it isn't limited to driving it, I also enjoy the challenge of working on it.

Thanks for the link, it's prob been several years since I've browsed that page.

Speaking of warranties, even a warranty on a new car isn't a guarantee of anything--ask me about the new Impreza I purchased back in 2006 and my fight with Subaru after it threw a rod after only 3 years .

Current supporting mods include, but are not limited to: custom TID, custom exhaust, hybrid turbo, FMIC, 3rd gen alt, rats nest removal, custom water injection setup, Koyo Radiator, RTek Stage 2.1, higher flowing secondaries, etc.

I've been working on this car off and on for the past 16 years, so obviously I'm not a newbie looking for a quick fix. There are alot of *EXTREMELY* knowledgeable people on this forum that have learned from the experience of working on and driving their cars at the above performance level--just looking to pick some of your big brains .

What psi are you peaking at on your T04S to produce 357hp?

This was 15psi.
Dyno Video.

Smoke is the turbo with a Bad seal.It was actually dyno'ed with the bad seal but it hit that 15psi and produced the numbers you see (rather shakily..lol) on the video.
Now I got the Turbo rebuilt so again I gotta tweak the map.
