Hello, I have a window regulator and motor assembly for the driver window on this 1988 Mazda RX7 convertible. A metal gear inside the motor has snapped where the regulator cable attaches. The motor looks very different from what I see available anywhere. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a replacement motor that matches the pictures below or where I can find the metal gear replacement.
the vert stuff is/was different from the coupe, and Mazda only sold the vert regulator as an assembly, FB67-59-560B for the left, FB67-58-560B for the right.
that being said i think that gear is not the normal part that fails, so maybe someone's bad regulator can fix yours?
