Arrow Name this Plug!!!!

Hey guys just curious. I always had a light glowing from under my shifter surround but never paid much attention to it, well i took it off ot repair the leather surround recently and discovered a wire with a light bulb mid-wire and aplug on the end. I FIgured out that the light goes in the ashtray since when i recieved the car the kill switch was hidden there and the light removed. But where does the plug go????

What does the plug look like? If it is shaped like an "L" and black in color it is the plug that hooks into the cigerette lighter to supply it power.

Are you sure that's not the bulb that illuminated the auto selector before the 5-spd swap? I wouldn't have though the cig lighter bulb would reach down to the shifter boot, it's pretty short.
