Arrow name this part

OK its under the stock airbox, to the left on the wheel well. Its a smal metal enclosure with a wire and plug protruding from the side. I rememebr reading that its some type of resistor but i cant find it again. Mine is not connected. Is this ok? bad? something to do with one of my removed systems?

No. Mine is plugged into something. i noticed it when I swapped to a tid and cone filter. I was thinking of removing it for more clearance for the filter but decided not to move it.

is it possible to not need the resistors if you switched over to an S5 ecu when you switch the S5 motor?

If you have high impedence resistors, you don't need that. Take a digital multimeter and check the resistence across the two plugs in the injector. If its down around 2 ohms, you need the resistor pack. If its around 12 ohms, the injectors have the amount of resistence that the ECU expects to see so you shouldn't need the resistor block.

Thats it exactly. I am almost positive i have high impidance injectors, so i guess im ok. I mean the car runs fine and everything (for a rebuild) so it doesnt seem to eb causing any problems. Can i just remove it? Im on a cleaning up my engine bay kick lately and i ahve alot of useless parts form removed systems. Im gonna post about some other things when i get pics.
