Excuse my ignorance, but what kind of mounts are these? I'm an S4 guy and not familiar. I don't even know how I acquired them.

My inclination is to think they are stock Cosmo 13BRE mounts, but I didn't think I picked up any with the motor I have. Parts have been sitting a while and I've lost track of some things.

either cosmo or rx8 mounts, leaning toward cosmo. keep the brackets, toss the mounts, these will let you drop and RE motor into your FC, or into FD. one of the two. so yes the brackets are valuable.

I'm about 95% certain these stock mounts will not work for an FC. I have aftermarket brackets for the 13BRE to install in an FC. Maybe they work for an FD like you say. Maybe I'll post in the 3rd Gen section and find out.
