NA Wireing harness question

While doing a T2 engine swap while using a NA wireing engine harness which wires do you pick to connect the boost control and other functions.

Anything wiring/electrical you need to know, do an advanced search and put Hailers for the user name along with whatever search info you're looking for.

you just disconect the NA pressure sensor and replace it with the TII pressure sensor..

you cant just do that...you need to run the TII ECU also and the AFM.

You need to state what series car/engine. The series four had no boost controller so I guess you mean series five that uses a different name and call it Duty Solenoid. Pin 3R at the ECU.

On a non turbo they have no Duty Solenoid but have a Six Port Induction solenoid. The turbo engines don't have that six port induction solenoid.

So all you do is, is put the Six Port Induction solenoids Electrical plug on the Duty Solenoid that will be on the series five turbo engine. Seems straight fwd to me.

You also need to do what the fellow said above and install a boost/pressure sensor for a turbo car. The reason you do that is that the n/a sensor is one atmospher but the turbo sensor is two atmosphere. It does not seem a big deal until you realize that the voltage output of each sensor is/are drastically different and you NEED to do that.

There are also a couple of other items that need rearrangement. Not significant but should be done. They're mentioned in a recent thread and it was another guy who listed the two other items.

Yea I'm worrking with a jspec S5 swap. Allof that makes sense, I'm just having trouble identifying wires. So far I have 3 unknown wires. I have pictures of just two at the moment.

The other unknown was a black connector right under the throttle body, it had a single wire. I couldn't find any to match it with so its just hanging out at the moment.

The BROWN connector is for the 6PI on a non turbo only.

The WHITE connector is for the VDI used only on a non turbo.

So the BROWN will now be used on the DUTY SOLENOID on the turbo vacuum rack. The DUTY SOLENOID should have been attached to the oil filler neck on the turbo engine.

The WHITE was VDI on the non turbo and now ONE WIRE in it will become the KNOCK sensors wire.

In that WHITE connector is a black/white wire that will NOT be used. It has 12vdc any time the key is to ON. Leave it alone.

The KNOCK sensor is screwed into one of the rotor housings and should have a single wire with a single hole connector on the end. You mate that wire with the yellow/black wire in the WHITE connector.

Make sense? or did I get the wiring crossed up somewhere? Someone better double check.
