hey guys i was just wanting to know the max power the na and tii tanny and rear end could handel?

the miata guys push around 300 HP to the flywheel on the stock tranny. Thats about it though. The t2 tranny and rear end can handle quite a bit of power. 500 +. The only time youll break stuff is if your making a ton of power and drag launching it.

I had a 260 hp in one of my friends cars....which really wasn't mine eccept for me building it. The idle isn't too high but the problem is the damn driveability. You can't let it drop below 1k or it can't stand it. We did some tweaking and got it to stay right at 1.5k and it drove ok. She just blew up at 45,000 miles. It was a fun car and probably one of the best drifting, cornering cars that I have ever been in. Do it, it is fun if you got the funds to play, use em.
