If you decide to use the USDM harness.

You need to cut the 12vdc+ wire going to the injectors. Cut the clip to the resistor pack off of the TII harness and wire the injector wires into each resistor. Or just get high IMP injectors.

You will need to lengthen the BACV wires if you chose to use the BACV. You can ignore the ASV and the knock sensor not needed.

Now here is what I forget off the top of my head. One of these items might need lengthened. Air temp sensor, TPS, Water thermo sensor.

okay, well i get the official "***" stamped on my forehead. i did all that but for one reason or another i decided to go with the NA harness. so as of right now. i have the turbo harness OUT and i have the NA harness sitting on the engine. okay, so i just went to hook up the injectors and...of course they dont mate. im going to asume that it has something to do with the impedance? so heres my question

how do i get the the injectors to mesh up? i have to use the injectors in the tII becuase of my mods. do i have to cut up my TII EM harness? if so, whats the procedure for the resistor? can someone explain with detail as best as possible? hailers, you have been ALOT of help here so, to you i give my thanks.

having said that...i am absolutely 100percent positively sure that i have wired this bitch up right. the em has the BrB and BrR wires cut, and the new wires are installed PLUG side. the brown wires (long side) have been deadened. the two NEW wires now run to the alternator. and im sure the water temp gauge is fixed becuase..well it doesnt go straight up to overheat like it did before..so..check!

so SHOULD i go ahead and put the NA harness in and **** with the injectors? or just plug the turbo harness back in...both are out at this very instant so what ever you think would be best.

wow....wow. okay first, thanks for you responce. second? these are both usdm, just na or TII harness is what im asking. third..if i really have to do all that extra work, lengthening **** to get it to work, the person who said " oh well just use the NA harness, its so much easier" is FULL OF ****. im tired. been working on this ******* car way to much, been up for 30hours and i just need to get it on the damn road!!!

well it would have been easiest to use the n/a harness unmodified from the start. i am not completely sure at this point of any of your mods to the wiring were to the body portion or purely to the emission (engine) harness. the n/a would have been plug n play with the exception of lengthening the bac and tps and possible resistor addtion for the injectors. if the resistors were needed due to a change in the injector impedence then you would need to file off the alignment keys of the low impedence injectors to plug into the offset plugs for the high impedence ones. then clipped the wire at 1r which was the power steering relay and cap it off. so if you have done all of the hard work its kinda a coin toss. think i followed that right?

You have to lengthen two connectors 3 or 4 wires whoopty do thats allot simpler then the TII harness. It just so happens you dont have matching TII injectors so you need to wire in the resistor OHM pack into the 12vdc wires of the injector clips.

seems like more work then running 2 lines the alt, and 1 about 6 inches

I thought your harness nad no resistor package on it? I thought that's what you wrote earlier.

What injectors are you using? High? Low?

Did this CAR originally have the resistor package? And the harness you have on the engine NOW has no connector for it?

And yeah, I keep forgetting that the BAC's wires have to be lengthened to reach from the left side of the engine to the right.

Then again look at the jpgs I attached earlier of the plugs called X-15 and X-16 and look at all the ( ) that are peculiar to the Turbo EM harness vs the NON TURBO EM harness and how the ( ) wires on the EM harness do NOT mate with the right wires on the FRONT harness. I.E they're functions are different.
