NA to TII??

I really want to swap a TII motor into my car and i am going to have about 2k to do it. i am going to keep the na drivetrain b/c i just got an ACT clutch and pressure plate. I was just wondering if anyone might know of a good/trustworthy website or buisness that sells these motors for not outrageous prices. Thanx

I know someone with the na drivetrain that has a bridgeported engine, with a turbo setup and a 100 shot of nitrous and as far as i know it is holding up pretty good. I would sell my car and try to get a TII but i dont know if someone would buy it. Its intereior is in great shape, the body needs a paint job and has a couple dings. But the part that would kill me is there is no P/S or A/C. So i just dont know if it would be worth it to sell it, has 96,000 miles and runs great.

that depends on a lot of things.. Are you going to do the full swap (as reccomended), or just the engine?

How many miles on chassis, engine?
what year, s4 or s5?
can range anywhere from 2.5k to 10k (a median of 4.5k )

It would be worth about $500 more than what you paid. Seriously.

that would be the least desireable of all swaps, s5 (89-91) can cost twice as much. I've had people offer me a full engine/drivetrain out of an s4 for $1000. I'm paying $3000 for an s5.
Also just doing an engine swap means that the next person will have a time bomb tranny. It's not the best idea.

does the n/a tranny bolt on to the t2 motor
and be sure to do it within years s4 to s4
etc
s4 to s5 is a pain(trust me i know)
and the t2 drive train is beefer than the n/a stuffs
i would recommend the you just take you time and do it right the first time get the t2 drivetrain stuffs ans bulid it that way plus you get and lsd

yes it will bolt up. Its ok you do this for a while until you can locate the parts for the full swap but if you plan to do this and then sell it to someone you are a dick. You are basically trying to pass off a t2 swap with only swapping half and wanting full price. So one should slap your ***

No if i swapped the motor in i would keep it. If i were to sell my car i would keep the na motor in it and buy either a turbo II or a supra. I would never try to dick someone over by trying to fool them into believeing it was a turbo.
