NA-t2 swap

I was wondering what I needed to do a NA to T2 swap. Does anyone have a parts list or a good website about it. I am seriously considering this and I need info. Thanks

Matt

Ok, be ready to spend way more money than it is worth. Just sell your n/a and get a TII. TTalk to a guy named SonikRat or his bud Skippydog about his TII swap(or me, since Sonik and I are pals too! ). Major pain in the ***.

hmmm. I hear a lot about not installing a TII drive train into a NA RX7. I am in the process of doing this and it is not, I repeat, NOT that hard or expensive! I will have way under $2000.00 when finished and have probably a nicer and more reliable car when finished because I KNOW what is being done to the car and know that it will be done right.
I purchased a 89 GTU shell for $175 (perfect body)
I purchased a 87 TII (rusted out underneath) complete for $400 runs but needs rebuilt (water seals gone)
Rebuild kit for the engine $800
Total $1375!!!

Now this does not include the little things like hoses belts or general things like tires, brakes and such but even after those I still will be below $2000 and have a car that will need nothing! And I will know first hand that it is reliable and able to go cross country if required and turn heads when going thru town.
The only drawback to this is that it takes a little bit of time to do it right but in the end it will be well worth it!
If you need any help in this adventure, just drop a email or PM me with your questions.

Joe

Look up the name KABOOSKI. He did a write up about four months ago. Don't read every post he made. When looking at the titles of the posts he made, you'll recognize the relavant post. He did it. Why not you??? A touch of money involved. Some big buck parts to buy to make it as strong as a turboii. Mechanical skills, which you must have since yu asked the question.
