NA S4 Transmission: How much power?

How much power can the NA S4 transmission withstand while being DD?

I was thinking of swapping in an S4 TII motor down the road and was wondering if the na tranny could handle the power. Obviously upgrading the clutch, and probably swapping in a 2-way differential. The only mods would be a full exhaust and intake. Wouldn't be pushing more than stock boost for a while.

You don't need a clutch upgrade. Stock is the bet choice for your goal.

If you want a turbo car sell your car and buy a turbo car. Think about how many hours you would spend doing the swap and modifying your car. If you worked a real job for that many hours you would have more money after selling your car and buying a turbo car. Plus, you could spend your weekends doing more social things like chasing trim.

Or playing video games. Nerd!

The NA tranny is barely in specs to handle stock NA hp to be honest. Syncro's on NA's are average at best.

Thanks I'll probably do that. I'm already 5-lug.

I killed a couple of NA trannies (and a couple of NA diffs) in my NA. The NA drivetrain is made of glass.

I broke my entire NA drivetrain on my nonturbo car, but I was very hard on it. If you are easy on it you can expect more life out of it.

The car is tracked at least once a month as well.

What all goes into the TII Swap:
Engine
Tranny
Modded driveshaft (If I use the na diff)
ECU
Harness
Downpipe for exhaust

Anything else?
