NA Gauges for streeported S5
First of all...please don't shoot me...I searched because I know at one time I saw a thread for this.
I finally have the streetported vert running again and I would like to buy an SAFC and tune it. I'm already planning to buy a wideband and oil pressure gauge. Any other suggestions for this car? It also has a custom exhaust that was on the car when it was purchased and the car is currently running rich.
Thanks!
GG

Well, the gauges I like to have are;
Oil Pressure
Oil Temp
Engine Temp
Fuel Pressure
WBO2
EGT
How do you know its running rich while under WOT? Running rich at idle is a completly different situation then at WOT. Idle does like to run rich but that doesn't mean your not running lean up top. What does your exhaust consist of?
I my self have a SAFC. I like it, I have gained many ponies road tuning it for the past 4 months, but I have to say that its only good for the temp range you tune it in. What I mean is, when the IAT gets colder or warmer, you loose ponies. If I tuned mine for 50-60*F weather like I did, any colder or warmer I loose a fair amount. It seems the stock ECU doesn't compensate very well for the IAT.
