NA Flywheel turbo clutch
NA Flywheel turbo clutch
Ok i know the turbo clutch and NA flywheel won't mate up. From what i've read i'm seeing that they are differen't diameters and different splines. I know RB makes a clutch that is made to fit the turbo tranny and NA flywheel, but the RB is a 6 puck unsprung hub and i'll be driving on the street to much for that. My friend said that i could probably have a clutch company custom make me a disk for that NA flywheel with turbo splines. Has anyone heard of this? Is there anyway i can modifie my centerforce clutch, like maybe putting the turbo clutch hub in it? reason i ask is i am switching to a turbo tranny but have a fairly new flywheel and clutch kit, maybe a few thousand miles on em at most and i'd really like to use my flywheel

The non-turbo flywheel is 225MM, but the turbo flywheel is larger (I don't remember the exact size). Hence the turbo clutch assembly, bellhousing and starter is different. You need to match the flywheel, clutch and starter to the transmission.

If you have a turbo tranny, regardless of what engine it is going on, use a turbo flywheel, starter, clutch and PP. Its that simple. Just make sure that the counterweight matches up with the series of the engine for balance purposes.
