ok well i was goin to buy a 87 rx7 with 180k miles for 800 bucks from a old woman but it wouldnt start im new to rotaries and need help lights come on had gallon of gas in it and oil it wanted to start but it couldnt i think its the fuel pump or alternator but we gave it a boost but the voltage meter didnt go to 1 or the fuel line didnt go up even when we put gas in it

 

if the accessories mode works and power comes on, and if the ignition works, and the starter works, and it wont crank at that point... uhm i think that puts you in the area for checking the igniter coils and the cables between them and the spark plugs, plus the spark plugs.

if the battery gauge reads the right voltage and you can turn headlights on and whatnot uhh it should still crank w/o the alternator working properly but it's going to kill the battery.

if it hasnt been cranked up in a really long time sometimes they flood or require some m4g1c tr1x to start up lol.

pretty simple process of elimination to figure out where to look though, and to be able to ask a more specific question or point in a more specific direction
