You need a turbo boost sensor to use the N332. The non turbo is a one bar and the turbo is a two bar. Their outputs are extremly different. See the fsm and the input/output pages.

I am going to make a new harness because I dont have any emissions stuff and i dont want all those plugs hanging around. ya know, just to clean it up.

As for the gauges, I have all autometer so the gauges dont matter.

Alternator exciter wire--what? thats the charging system part i was talking about. there is still a pin for that though, correct?
You wouldn't use the alternator plug off the emissions harness. You'd still use the alternator plug off the engine harness. You'd NEVER attach the alternator plug off the emissions harness. Makes no sense. Read the fsm. Its free.

). The cutoff for 87 1/2 is June 1987 and splits at VIN #7601.

************************************************** **********************
That's the cutoff from low to high impedence injectors.

ok....i've checked the fsm and here are the details that i've found...everything is basically the same except the pins that was described by hailers 1R, 2K, and 3D.
n/a ecu:
1R - Connected to p/s switch
2K - to split air solenoid
3D - to inhibitor switch
2B - pressor sensor

tII ecu:
1R - knock control unit
2K - twin scroll solenoid
3D - fuel pump resistor relay
2B - boost sensor

i got a few questions but i gotta cook. brb in awhile

I'm not understanding. It's not desireable to use a n/a harness on a turboII car, but it and anything can be done and work.

ok....i'm back. few questions:

why isnt there a p/s switch for the tII? is it needed in the n/a?
i didnt find anything related to the twin scroll solenoid but in the manual they both have a split air solenoids. are they related or am i miising something?
what the hell does the inhibitor switch inhibits? is there a fuel pump resistor in the n/a also?

i'm still reading into the fsm but would like some insight on the questions i have and suggestions on what i can do.
