I'm looking into converting my 88 n/a GXL to a turbo. What's the difference between a 86-88 motor and a 89-91???? Can i use a 89-91 in my 88 GXL??? Also is there a site where it lists the parts or more that I would need to do this conversion??? Basically i need all the info i can get to do a coversion properly. HELP!

this site has all the info you need, just use the search function. or you could look on probably one of the other pages up right now because someone asks this at least twice a week. the 2nd gen archive probably has a thread on it too.

Actually sounding like a dick isnt all that funny. some people come on the forum and dont know what might have been posted in the past. Just go to the SEARCH engine on this site, and under names type, kabooski. That guy has done it and has written a detailed outline on how to do it. He's written several posts so you'll have to look at several. Also pm Kevin Landers. I just now read a post not far below this one and he answered the guy saying that if someone needed to know what is required to do the conversion, just pm him. And you'd better not *flame* me.

But a T2 into a NA isnt worth the trouble or aggrivation. RX7 Ragtop and I swapped out his tranny and rear sub frame in his vert this weekend (in the rain) and it totally sucked. Just go find a T2.
