N/A to turbo
Hello guys, I'm new to the forums and RX-7s in general. I've been going through here and learning a lot.
Anyways, I have an 88 N/a 7 running off one rotor, but I'm wanting to just take that out and put a 13bt, and was wondering what all needs to be done to go from N/a to turbo? Motor, Turbo, Tranny, clutch, flywheel, ECU, what else? Thanks and yes I've searched but can't seem to find anything that answers my question.

i think the drivetrain on the N/A isnt strong enough for the TII motor so i think in order to do the swap you have to switch those out... then you need to get the different harness for the TII and your gonna have to get the downpipe and exhaust, and if you get it with the stock intercooler you have to get the hood scoop to get air to flow into the intercooler... and i think thats it but im not completely sure youll have to wait and see what someone else on here says cuz i still have an N/A

Check the FAQ at the top of the page.
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/frequently-asked-questions-2nd-generation-rx-7-faq-fc-494667/
scroll down about half way through, ton of links there.
and have your wallet ready. you'll either need to swap to the turbo II drivetrain or get the driveshaft that'll bolt up to the N/A diff.
