N/A -> Tii

I know there are a lot of threads about this, but this is a little diffrent question. I am thinking about changing from the N/A to the tii, if i am having problems with my ecu now, can i put a tii in an NA with out the turbos and still have it run? I know, i should just go buy a tii, but what fun is that?

I'd go with just buying the TII because changing an auto to a 5 speed would be a pain in the *** and on top of that changing the engines would be a lot of work(my friend is converting his and he has had problems getting necessary TII parts). TII's are hard to find, but they are out there. For a decent one I would say costs around $3,000 depending on what you call decent.
