N/A halfshafts and T-II halfshafts

are they interchangable?

i have a T-II rearend i need to put in but one of the halfshafts has a damaged knuckle boot and is leaking grease due to shipping i was wondering if i can just use an N/A rearend halfshaft? will they mate the same?

No. Let me add, the TII shafts are thicker and the hub bearings are the same, but not certain about the flange. Just assumed the diff flange was larger on the TII, but need to check as I have a TII and NA up in the garage.

Sorry, hopefully someone else will know.

Even if they did bolt up i would think that they wouldn't be able to handle the power for very long. But what do i know?

They have the kits to change the boots and grease without the whole driveshaft.
