N/A fireball?
How is it you guys get the fireball to shoot out of your exhuast? I always read about it, but I can't seem to do it, but I guess I can't really get out and look, either. I know it's a really stupid question, but I care about my car too much to do something that won't work. If it works, I'll do it... wow, that's *** backwards.
Also, is a base model 87 N/A good at whipping around, say, on a big, open, flat piece of concrete, and smoking 'em? I've got some tires that are no good, and I want to have some fun before I get new ones.

Well, a fireball is a result of unburned gas departing the tailpipe at high temperature and igniting when it finally gets oxygen.
If you have your catalytic converter, you probably won't get much of a fireball (though I understand it is doable). If you have a properly tuned standalone, you probably won't get any fireball (since you won't be running stupidly rich).
With the stock ECU, run at high RPM/load for a while (running 5-7k RPM, high throttle settings) to heat up the exhaust system, and then just accelerate and let off. I've throw some impressive fireballs that way (usually not intentionally), and one of them was bright enough that my passenger whipped around to look for the cop (he thought it was a spotlight).
I'll eventually be getting a standalone and tuning this "feature" out of my car.
As for tires, you have an open differential, so you'll mostly be a "one wheel wonder", but you can definitely roast off some tire rubber.

I brought my vert home today with no exhaust except for the manifold itself, it threw some serious flames when I took it up to redline and shifted :P little scary having that happen under the car though. I couldnt see them but my gf was following me and totally freaked out :P
