N/A engine with trans back TII drivetrain
How drive-able is an OEM N/A convertible if I swap over my TII trans, ACT streetlight clutch, driveshaft, S4 TII diff and halfshafts?
If I move forward with speculative car plans I will have more cars than I have space for.
I have a 90 convertible with a full S5 TII swap, but bad front half of the motor. I am considering buying my father's 91 OEM convertible, rebuilding his motor for turbo and swapping over all my turbo parts. Problem is, that I'd need to make room for cars. I'd like to, as the title says, swap the transmission back while I await rebuild. It would be nice if the car was drive-able if it needed to be. Sometimes family will borrow my daily car for hauling things. Also, if I pay someone to build the engine, it would be nice to drive the car to them rather than have to pay someone to trailer it.
This would allow me to swap the N/A trans into the 90, sell it and make room.
I imagine it would be drive-able but I'd probably need silly high RPMs from the N/A to get it to go. Am I thinking right on this? I've been away from rotaries for a good many years.

Have this setup on my car. 100% drive-able. It is definitely heavier than the stock NA stuff, but it is not that much different feeling. Main downside for me is just the new gear ratios. I'm building a turbo engine that should solve most of those issues.
