N/A 13B-RE in an FC

hehehe, don't inquire as to WHY I'm asking about this, just humor me...

What are the requirements to drop an N/A 13B-RE into an FC?

Replace the turbo manifold w/ a header, replace the rotating assembly w/ a S5 N/A's assembly, and replacing the intermediate housing w/ one from a TII?

I know the intake track will be a problem after that. But theoretically, I could even use the N/A's ECU & a piggy-back, correct? (Assuming I went bare-block w/ the 13B-RE)

mmmm... I think the 13b RE's are built for turbo'd cars. I guess you could do N/A though... you would want higher compression rotors.

revolutin Roatary is running a NA 13B-RE in their Bracket Car. It would be more cost effective just to buy Cosmo housiings and run them in your S5

Where would you get could you get cosmo housings? Plus, to offset the cost of the J-Spec, I might sell the turbo and manifold.

This is KINDOF a stepping stone. I'd most likely convert it back to a high-compression turbo later...

After giving it a lot of thought. It's more cost effective (as in HP per $ total) to jut get a J-Spec TII engine, and convert that. Sure, it's not as prestigious as a 13B-RE... but, who cares?

you can't port N/A housings very far. Not enough material there.
