<vent>I bought that stuff from Lamin-x... it sucks REALLY bad. No joke. Its nearly impossible to put on without getting bubbles (and yes, I have lots of experience putting vinyl down and such).. You HAVE to do it wet, atleast that way you can't SEE the bubbles. AND once its on, it isn't yellow enough and ends up looking like a crappy white bulb rather than a yellow one... Even with my YELLOW bulb it still looked weak at best. I pulled that crap off and went with the whites... </vent>

Spraying the inside would be borderline impossible to get right.... plus, there's no way of cleaning the inside of the lense.. I wish there was. And if there is.. please let me know.

8 bucks for 2 bottles, shipped. When I get them, I'll come back to this thread and send out paypal addy's. cool?

I did this exact setup to my car with yellow bulbs. They are extremely yellow. I now have some Piaa Plasma Ion Yellow H3C bulbs that almost shine a yellow-green.

Edit : I used a spray glass tint that I bought at a local arts store though. Same end result. I also sanded the housings really well before hand.

I'll be doing the same thing for my foglights. I know you used one bottle for both but what exact number of coat(s) per lens?

Thanks for the info, they do look very orange... but on a black car it would stand out alot IMO. I am liking the progress on your project. I know how Oregon weather is like I've been there many times, it does suck (from a person who lives in Southern California... ).

You can check up on the 2nd Gen For sale / wanted section. They pop up once in a while there.

Be prepard to buy a 89-91 front bumper to go along with them. They WILL NOT fit your 88 GTU.
