Your interior fuse panel has a cover which identifies the fuse locations. If you don't have the cover then look in the FAQ thread for a diagram of it (It's the third row from the bottom far right position). There's different ways to test the fuse. You can do a continuity test on the fuse to verify that it's good or visually inspect it as two ways of checking the fuse.

If it worked the previous night, then not the next morning I'd bet it's simply dirty contact on his switch finally showing itself. Without being agressive, try pushing it down, pause, down, pause.....up to 10 times and I'll bet the window starts going down during one of the pauses.

The Fix - Pull the door panel, then work the switch out from the underside. DO NOT TRY AND REMOVE THE SWITCH FROM THE TOP. If you look carefully, you'll see how to take the switch appart. Take some sand paper or small file and clean the contacts. Put it back together and plug it into the harness. I'll bet the windows will then work just fine.

well i know it's easy to just ask but before this intranet we bought haynes manuals and read.

if someone asks how to change an oil filter next i'm punching my monitor and moving to a different planet.

people these days find 0 reward in figuring **** out on their own, regardless of how simple a question it is.
